Maestro Wilson continues his journey through the symphonies of Beethoven with Symphony No. 2.
Steve Winteregg, Dean of Fine Arts at Cedarville University, will be the featured contemporary composer. He is the composer of four ballets, and his orchestral pieces have been performed by orchestras such as the Cincinnati Symphony, the Columbus Symphony, the Czech Radio Symphony, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Delaware Symphony, the Indianapolis Symphony, the Milwaukee Symphony, the Orchestra of Augsburg and the Sarajevo Philharmonic.
The SSO will perform the world premier of his work The Great Divide.
The program will conclude with the Tchaikovsky Rococo Variations for Cello and Orchestra performed by the 2011 Tchaikovsky Cello Competition Gold Medalist Narek Hakhnazaryan.
