Rossini: L’Italiana in Algeri Overture
Bolcom: Concerto Grosso
Beethoven: Symphony No. 2
A raucous good time! Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 is one of his most sparkling, joyous inventions, and we welcome the totally incongruous presence of a saxophone quartet on William Bolcom’s tuneful, pulsating concerto. Fun for orchestra and audience alike brings this extraordinary 2014-2015 season to a close!
