Rossini: L’Italiana in Algeri Overture
Bolcom: Concerto Grosso
Beethoven: Symphony No. 2

A raucous good time! Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 is one of his most sparkling, joyous inventions, and we welcome the totally incongruous presence of a saxophone quartet on William Bolcom’s tuneful, pulsating concerto. Fun for orchestra and audience alike brings this extraordinary 2014-2015 season to a close!

Two-time winners of the Chamber Music America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming, PRISM has performed in Carnegie Hall on the Making Music Series, in Alice Tully Hall with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and throughout Latin America. PRISM has also been presented to critical acclaim as soloists with the Detroit Symphony and Cleveland Orchestra, and conducted residencies at the nation’s leading conservatories, including the Curtis Institute of Music and the Oberlin Conservatory.

“They play with grit, brio, and take-no-prisoners accuracy.” – Detroit Free Press

“...exciting...and virtuosic...” – The New York Times

“PRISM delivered a rhapsodic, riveting performance.” – The Los Angeles Times
