Won’t you please consider sponsoring a youth orchestra student for this event?

On Friday, January 12th, Springfield Youth Orchestra members will be participating in their annual fundraiser at Covenant Presbyterian Church. On that night, our young musicians will be playing their fingers “to the bone” earning pledges that will help offset the costs of our program that are not covered by the annual tuition fees.

This event is a time of fun, fellowship, and educational activities for our students, with workshops and rehearsals conducted by Maestro Wilson, Springfield Symphony Orchestra members, and other area music professionals. Springfield Symphony youth programs provide our young musicians the opportunity to perform in a full orchestra setting at the advanced level, quality beginning and intermediate string ensembles, and a high-level children’s chorus experience. The annual tuition fee covers approximately 35% of the cost to run these ensembles. Learn more about our youth orchestras here and children’s chorus here.

Please sponsor one of our young musicians for this event! Pledges can be made for any dollar amount for the student of your choice, or a student from the school district of your choice by clicking on Make Your Pledge Now at the right.

You will receive a tax donation letter, and we’ll notify the student of your pledge. Thank you in advance for your support of the Springfield Symphony Youth Orchestras and Children’s Chorus!
