The Springfield Symphony Orchestra will present Lunch on the Lawn, a series of free, informal ensemble concerts located on the front lawn of the Springfield Museum of Art during the noon lunch hour. The programs will be performed from 11:30 am – 1 pm on four consecutive Fridays – July 31 to August 21, 2009.
Music for Lunch on the Lawn will include a mixture of classical and popular music by very diverse performing groups. An outdoor tent will be provided for shade, and in case of rain the performances will move inside the Museum. Admission to each performance is free. A special sack lunch will be available for $6.00 (with beverage) while they last.

August 14 All the King’s Tubas
August 21 Kohitoneko String Trio
