Lunch on the Lawn

The Springfield Symphony Orchestra will present Lunch on the Lawn, a series of free, informal ensemble concerts located on the front lawn of the Springfield Museum of Art (now known as the Springfield Center for the Arts at
Wittenberg University) during the noon lunch hour. The programs will be performed from 11:30 am – 1 pm on four consecutive Fridays – July 29 to August 19, 2011.
Music for Lunch on the Lawn will include a mixture of classical and popular music by very diverse performing groups. An outdoor tent will be provided for shade, and in case of rain the performances will move inside the Museum. Admission to each performance is free. A special sack lunch will be available for $6 (with beverage) while they last.

August 12 –Good Vibes Jazz Quartet
August 19 – Springfield Youth Symphony String Quartet
