The Springfield Youth Orchestras

This annual fall concert will feature the Springfield Youth Symphony under the direction of Jun Kim, The Springfield Youth Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Jamie Whitmore, and The Springfield Youth String Ensemble under the direction of Janet Fu. The concert is open to the public and free of charge.
Music will include selections by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Handel, Mussourgsky, and more. The evening will also feature performances by the Youth Chamber String Quartet, and the Youth Symphony Woodwind Trio.
The Springfield Youth Orchestras program features over 100 young musicians from 45 schools and home schools from a nine county area. The Springfield Youth Symphony is one of the few opportunities in Clark County for students to perform in a full orchestra setting.
