Uncommon Women featuring violinist Jennifer Koh

Opening night of the 2019 to 2020 season will feature an all American program, including works by three female composers, as we launch a year dedicated to the enormous contributions that women continue to make to the canon of symphonic music. Join the Orchestra on a guided journey through American music history, performing compositions by the first woman and the first African American woman ever to be performed by a major orchestra and concluding with the dazzling virtuosity of violinist Jennifer Koh.
