An Evening of Emotion, Drama, and Rachmaninoff
The Springfield Symphony Orchestra opens the 2026–27 season with the music of Sergei Rachmaninoff. Pianist Spencer Myer performs Rachmaninoff’s iconic Piano Concerto No. 2. The program also features selections from the composer’s Études-Tableaux in Respighi’s vivid orchestration and concludes with Rachmaninoff’s final orchestral masterpiece, Symphonic Dances.
