Springfield Symphony Orchestra is looking for an energetic, inspiring conductor to direct our Youth Symphony starting in the 26-27 season. The Springfield Youth Symphony has a long-standing history of creating a joy-filled music education in our community. If you love working with students, building musical skills, and creating meaningful performance experiences, we’d love to meet you.
 

What we’re looking for:
• Experience conducting or teaching in an orchestra setting
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A passion for youth music education
• Ability to create a positive, encouraging rehearsal environment

Compensation is negotiated based on experience - minimum compensation is salaried at $6000 a year.
