Featuring Bob Niederriter Trio
The Springfield Symphony Orchestra will present Lunch on the Lawn, a series of free, informal ensemble concerts on the front lawn of the Springfield Museum of Art, 107 Cliff Park Road, Springfield.
Join us on Friday, August 7 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM for a performance by the Bob Niederriter Trio. Kicking off the Springfield Jazz and Blues Festival weekend, Niederriter is a composer, guitarist, and arranger who has studied and performed with great artists in jazz and modern classical music.
Music for Lunch on the Lawn includes a mixture of classical and popular music by quality, diverse performing groups and artists.
Special box lunches with a beverage are available while they last.
Bring your own lawn chair or put down a blanket under a tree or under an outdoor tent. In case of rain, the performance will move inside the Museum.
Chairs will still be needed indoors.
Join us for four weeks of free live music at Lunch on the Lawn, taking place on July 31, August 7, August 14, and August 21. Each Friday from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM features a different ensemble and musical experience.
