Saturday, May 3rd (all ages)11 AM, noon and 1 PM - Gaier Room of the Main Library
Come watch the Springfield Symphony Orchestra perform while Aaron Clark narrates the wonderful story There Was a Party for Langston* by Jason Reynolds, illustrated by Jerome Pumphrey and Jarrett Pumphrey. The book easily lends itself to music for all to “hear” as they read it, which has led to these special performances. *The book will be given out to each family (while supplies last).
