This year’s Grapes & Escapes brought together New Orleans spirit, Venetian elegance, and true Springfield celebration in a way we will not soon forget. The Davidson Lobby was alive with color, conversation, and excitement as guests arrived ready to embrace the theme and support the Springfield Symphony Orchestra.
Guests enjoyed small bites and specialty cocktails during the reception before stepping onto the Kuss Auditorium stage for an unforgettable dinner experience. The aromas of a New Orleans inspired menu filled the air. Laughter echoed through the hall. Masks, beads, and festive flair made the room feel like Bourbon Street met the Grand Canal.
It was Masquerade. It was Mardi Gras. It was pure joy.
During dinner, music carried the spirit of the French Quarter across the stage. Friends reconnected. New friendships were formed. And the live auction brought out both generous hearts and playful competition as guests bid on exciting escapes and adventures.
Most importantly, every dollar raised supports the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, the Springfield Symphony Jazz Orchestra, and our Youth Education Programs. Grapes & Escapes is not just a party. It is one of our most important annual fundraisers, helping sustain live music and music education right here in Springfield, Ohio.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this event possible.
Thank you to our generous sponsors.
Thank you to our volunteers.
Thank you to the donors who contributed auction items and experiences.
Thank you to the musicians and performers who filled the night with sound.
And thank you to every guest who purchased a ticket, wore a mask, raised a paddle, or stepped onto the dance floor.
Because of you, the music continues.
If you were there, we invite you to relive the evening. If you could not attend, we invite you to see what made it so special. View The Masquerade of the French Quarter Event Photo Gallery.
Grapes & Escapes continues to grow each year, and we are already looking forward to what the next celebration will bring. Until then, thank you for believing in the arts, in music education, and in the power of a community that shows up.
