The Polo Club was packed last month for a brand-new kind of Springfield Symphony Orchestra fundraiser. The Women’s Association of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra (WASSO) hosted its first-ever Bingo & Brunch FunRaiser, and the turnout was incredible. Every seat was filled, laughter echoed through the room, and guests enjoyed a perfect day of food, fun, and friendship — all in support of live music and the arts in Springfield, Ohio.

The morning began with the scent of fresh coffee (and mimosas) and trays of delicious food. Guests enjoyed gourmet brunch favorites, including a rich French toast bread pudding that quickly became the talk of the table.
At the mimosa station, bright and fruity flavors like strawberry lemonade added a playful twist to the day. Plates were full, glasses were raised, and smiles were everywhere.
Once brunch wrapped up, the fun kicked into high gear. Bingo cards were spread across tables, and the room buzzed with friendly competition. Between rounds, everyone joined in for some lighthearted trivia that had people laughing and cheering. Whether you came to win prizes or just enjoy the company, it was impossible not to have a good time.

This event was more than just a fun brunch. It was a chance to give back. All funds raised by WASSO go directly to support the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and its programs, including the Springfield Youth Ensembles. These programs help young musicians learn, grow, and perform, keeping the future of music strong in our community. Every ticket purchased and every raffle played helps make that possible.
The success of this first-ever Bingo & Brunch showed just how much the community loves and supports the arts. It was the perfect mix of food, laughter, and purpose — a beautiful reminder that when Springfield comes together, great things happen.

If you missed out this time, don’t worry. This is only the beginning. WASSO has a full calendar of events that make it easy to have fun while helping local music thrive.

The first Bingo & Brunch may be over, but the excitement it created is sure to last. With community support like this, the future of live music in Springfield has never looked brighter.
